Sunil Raisoni began his professional journey in 1984 when his family acquired the dealership of ITC Limited and he moved to Nagpur to lead operations. Over the next two decades, he built a strong reputation in the business arena through discipline, strategic thinking, and consistent execution.
Guided by his father’s vision of “Education for All,” he expanded his purpose beyond business. In 1998, he established his first educational institution — a Polytechnic and Engineering College — laying the foundation of what would become the Raisoni Group of Institutions.
Today, Raisoni stands as a trusted name in education. Mr. Raisoni credits this growth to his dedicated team, whose commitment, accountability, and timely execution have shaped the Group’s success. The cornerstone of the institution has always been trust.

At just 23, Mr. Raisoni takes leadership of the family's ITC Limited dealership in Nagpur. Over the next 14 years, he builds a formidable reputation in business through discipline, strategic thinking, and flawless execution.

The flagship G H Raisoni College of Engineering becomes the youngest institute in India to receive NBA accreditation—just six years after establishment. It also secures the highest World Bank aid (TEQIP) among private institutes.
Establishment of SGR Knowledge Foundation under Section 8 of the Companies Act, formalizing his commitment to social impact across education, health, and environment.
Two private universities established—G H Raisoni University, Saikheda (2016) and G H Raisoni University, Amravati (2018)—expanding access to quality higher education in underserved regions.
